Science, Technology & Faith: A Rich Terrain for Church Engagement
The Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion at Oxford University is pleased to announce a day conference on the theme on Wednesday, 12th September, 9.30am to 4.30pm, to be held at Ripon College Cuddesdon, Oxfordshire, OX44 9EX.
This conference for lay and ordained church leaders and RE teachers will provide opportunities to hear from experts in the field of science and religion. You will have the opportunity to take part in workshops on bringing together science, technology and faith in the life of the Church, and to network with others in ministry. The event will be held in the beautiful surroundings of the campus of Ripon College Cuddesdon, just outside Oxford.

There will also be workshops on “Science, Technology & Faith from the Pulpit” (Jennifer Brown); “Bringing Science into the Church” (Dr Carina Lobley); “Practical Science & Faith with Children & Young People” (Dr Lizzie Henderson); and “Science & Religion: an Opportunity for Mission or Apologetics?” (Revd Dr Gillian Straine).
