Dr Mikolaj Slawkowski-Rode is Assistant Professor in the Department for Philosophy of Culture at the Institute of Philosophy, University of Warsaw as well as Junior Research Fellow, and tutor in Philosophy at Blackfriars Hall, University of Oxford. His PhD thesis, written under Prof. Sir Roger Scruton in Oxford, and Prof. Zofia Rosinska in Warsaw, was nominated for the Ministerial Prize for the best research undertaken nationwide in 2016 in Poland. Since 2018 He is a visiting lecturer at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at The University of Buckingham and teaches on their MA course in Philosophy. Mikolaj Slawkowski-Rode is also a founding member of the Humane Philosophy Society and organizer of the Humane Philosophy Project.
