Is Religious Belief Natural? Roger Trigg summarises his research for Channel 4
Roger Trigg, Senior Research Fellow of the Ian Ramsey Centre, was interviewed by Channel 4's "4thought.tv" and broadcast on 18 November 2012 about his research on the Cognitive Science of Religion. This two minute summary, broadcast after the main evening news, summarised some results from the 3-year project on the Cognitive Science of Religion jointly hosted by the Ian Ramsey Centre and Faculty of Anthropology. Prof. Trigg highlighted in particular the accumulating body of experimental evidence that underlines how religious impulses are natural to humanity, inherently linked to our cognition of the world.
