Announcement: Expense Bursaries for Religion, Society, and the Science of Life

Applications are invited for bursaries to broaden participation at the joint IRC-ISSR conference Religion, Society, and the Science of Life to be held at St Anne’s College, Oxford, from 19-22 July 2017.

The bursaries are intended for students, early career researchers, researchers from developing countries, or in financial hardship. The maximum bursary will be £300 for researchers in the UK, and £700 for all others.

Applications should be made directly to the ISSR at admin@issr.org.uk, stating (i) your name, email address, and institutional affiliation, (ii) the relevance of the conference for your research, and (iii) the nature of your financial hardship, if applicable. Applications should be made as soon as possible, but no later than Wednesday, 31 May. We cannot guarantee that all applicants will receive a bursary.

The deadline for abstract submissions to the conference has been extended to Wednesday, 3 May to reflect this late announcement.
